With 2008 upon us, we find our Winter Workshop is approaching quickly. Our program is coming together nicely and I am looking forward to a great event. Here are a few of the details:

Here is how our program is stacking up. We will start the morning off with a continental breakfast, registration and brief opening statement by the President. The Environmental Committee will host the first program: “Railroads and Governmental/Private Redevelopment Challenges” presented by Leo Thorbecke, Gary Rozmus and Kevin Keller. Following a short break, the Real Estate Committee will host the second program: "The Dallas Logistics Hub", presented by The Allan Group, developer of the facility. Our luncheon will feature a keynote address from Ann Woessner, Sr. VP, Business Incentives Practice Group, The Staubach Company. Our first program after lunch will be hosted by the Industrial Development Committee, entitled “Partnering with Local Governments and Shortlines” presented by Jerry Cash, City of Cleburne Economic Development, Richard Lesikar, Ft Worth & Western Railroad and Nate Asplund, Director BNSF PPP Department. The closing program for the day will be hosted by the Business Development Committee, entitled “DFW Metro-Plex Commuter Rail Systems” presented by Ray Lanman, VP Corp. Devel., Herzog Transit Services, Inc. for Trinity Rail Express and Lonnie Blades, Dallas Area Rapid Transit.
